Keytone sighed and held back a smile as Arche bit Exilis. After he stood up and grimaced as he looked at the heavily scraped up hands he had just received from the rock wall. He shook them and looked back to the group for a moment before there was a sudden snapping sound from above. The huge mass of roots racing to the cliff edge suddenly stopped at such a speed that they snapped around chaotically as would a whip in an untrained hand. They writhed around for a moment as they seemed struggling against their tether before winding back on themselves, only to retract to where ever they had come from.
"Damn, that was scary." Keytone said to himself and sighed.
"Is everyone," He paused in his speech for a moment as he looked back to Exilis and the bite he had just received, "Is everyone okay?"

"I'll say whatever I damned well OUCH!" Exilis imediately felt the pointed glass that was Arch attatch itself to his arm, and his natural instinct besides screaming was to shake his arm around viscously, despite the tear it caused in his hand, and despite the blood trying to get her off him.
Teeth gritted firmly together to stop any more escilmations of pain he glared at pretty much everyone in the group, knowing that they found it perfectly entertaining, and decided that even Keytone deserved a good scowl. He was good at scowling, exceptionally so as it was a highly reaccuring past time. Now with the addition of dark purple skin, golden eyes, and sharper features, rather than looking like an annoyed young man, he looked semi dangerous, and was quite proud of this fact.

Arche immediately let go, not wanting to be shaken to death, if that was possible for her mutated form. She flew through the air, hitting the cliff with a loud thump, and sliding downward to the ground. She lay there for a moment, curled up in a ball, breathing quickly. She hurt all over, though how glass could hurt, she wasn't sure. Even still, she wasn't going to give Exilis the glory of having hurt her...or maybe he just wanted her in good condition for selling.
Whatever the case, Arche stood shakily, head drooping somewhat, hoping like hell the glass hadn't cracked. The sound of wind chimes struck the air--Arche sighing--but the dragon didn't move for fear of revealing a limp.

((Sorry it took me so long to reply, I've been really busy this month.))

Amy held back a snigger; after all, Exilis had got what he deserved. She wondered if he still wanted to sell some of the group... And then she smiled. No one would buy from a purple creature. No one would know what he was! He'd need to become human again, and as yet they hadn't discovered how to do that. "I'm OK," she said to Keytone. "Just shaken. Stupid mutant plants..." She padded over to Arche and stood next to her. "Thanks for biting him," she whispered, barely able to be heard at all.

Casey sniggered under her breth, watching Exilis' every expression.
"I'm alright," She muttered to Keytone, but her eyes still on the purple creature, "Just about, anyway. If he hadn't saved me, iwould be dead. Then again....I prefer he didn't save me." Casey looked down at her arm, her scraped skin where Exilis had caught her as she fell and sighed.

Keytone sighed and let his ears fall a little, "Well, at least none of us are dead. Lets just try to find a town or something that we can get supplies or something. And at least get some bandages for Ex's hand." He said and looked around for a moment, but seeing hardly anything but the trees, dirt, and cliff they had all come from, no sign of any village or anything of the sort.
"Great, nothing. Ex, you think you can fly up and see if anything is around here at all?"

Exilis peered at his hand, and found himself thinking it was a little strange to be leaking gold liquid which was apparently blood. "Well.." he mused while not really listening to the others, but catching his reflection in the oddly coloured blood "That's interesting". Covering it with his other claw like hand he turned back to the group and the conversation.
"Well in that case, I won't save you next time" he stated simply "No doubt we'd be better off without you slowing us down," shrugging he flexed his wings, and scowled at the majority which seemed to think his hand was better with puncture marks.
"Of course I can" he responded perhaps a little harsly to Keytone "Don't see why I should though" he added with an over dramatised sigh and took off into the air. Once he was about 20 metres above the ground, he hung in midair and looked around. Catching his eye on something in the distance he flew higher, and more in the direction of that object. There was definately smoke rising from it, and it looked large enough. Upon closer inspection it appeared to be a small village, perhaps of gyspies as none of the buildings looked as though they were perminant, and many where tents.
Returning within two or so minutes, he landed gracefully, despite the tempt to 'accidently' crash in to one of the varius annoyances in which he was apparently stuck with. "There's a small village, looks temperary, about 3 miles West of here" his voice had never sounded as bored as it did when he spoke those words

Seeing Exilis leave for the moment, Arche sighed and slumped into the grass, curling into a little ball and closing her eyes so she could rest a moment.
"That's alright..." she sighed quietly to Amy, nuzzling into the grass like she could hide away in it. And she almost could, too, if the grass was just a little bit longer...
She jumped up, startled as Exilis returned. She was surprised and pleased to find that though she jumped up and hit the ground rather sharply, no more pain shot up her legs. It appeared she was fine. She almost laughed aloud at Exilis, but a terrible feeling that he might squish her into the dirt loomed overhead.
