to find some beautiful place to get lost,
to find some beautiful place to get lost."

name; Alexander Matthew Fray
age; 19
gender; Male
species; Werewolf

appearances; He does not appear manly in stature, with not-broad shoulders and a thin, androgynous frame. His face is slender, as is the rest of his bony body. His nose is thin, widening at the end. His lips are thick, their once crimson color now cracking and pale. He is not, completely, well put together. His willowy frame and bad posture give suggestion of malnourishment and low self-esteem. His right eye, the only things on his pale body with real tangible color, is an indistinct hue. A muddy mix of green and blue, normally set under a starvation caused glaze. His hair is worn long, and longer on top, rarely cut, its lengths pin-straight and obviously not well groomed. These locks are bleached a light blonde, the auburn roots that grow out fairly long are a great contrast to the lightness.

One might notice, while observing this young man, that he is scarred. Not in the snooty emotional way, but in the physical sense. Beneath his left eye is a long scar, leading down to his cheek. This scar is prominent mostly because of the eye it leads to, it’s color seems to have faded, it is nebulous white, the black lining the iris and dark pupil are the only color. He can no longer see through it. In addition to his blind eye, he is missing his left arm, it ends off right underneath the shoulder, the skin has completely grown back over the wound. Because he was left handed and is now missing a left hand, he is fairly week. His right arm is still gaining strength, and no where near fight ready.

He tends to wear what most guttersnipe type people do. His clothes are thrift store bought or dumpster found, never anything new or extremely stylish. They tend to be too large for his slender body, making him look all the more ambiguous under the baggy cloth. He tends to stray towards either oversized t-shirts, or slightly fitted ones, which he wears under dark sweatshirts, work-style trench coats, or both. His shoes are old beat-up white converse, at least two sizes too big. But with the socks he layers in the winter, the actually fit alright.

He is unmuscular and altogether unimpressive. One might think that, due to his scarred, weak, unimpressive looks he may not hold his head as high as he does. He exerts a confidence he does not have, and relies on this to not be bothered. Being as weak and as defenseless as he is, he has learned to read people quite well, and acts however he feels will make him the safest around whoever it is he is around.

As a wolf, and beast, his scars and anomalies are still present. Though his human hair is bleached, as a wolf and beast it is it’s natural auburn. In both forms he is missing an arm, has the same white eye and scar, and has two large gashes on his back. These gashes are better seen, as in both these forms there is no use for a shirt to cover it up.

As a habitual smoker his voice, contrary to the smooth tones of his childhood, is low and raspy. In every form he can muster it remains this way. He rarely speaks and it almost seems underused in its sound. Its tones are quiet, even when raised, and not at all melodic. He would make a horrible singer for anything other than a scream-your-lungs-out punk rock band. And, since he doesn’t much care for punk rock music, that seems rather unlikely.

personality; Fray is a closed door. His normally deadpan expression speaks volumes for the boy living behind it. Having used his hardened mask for so long, he slowly became it. He is callous and cold, uncaring for all those around him. Hard to get to and unresponsive, he lives his life looking out for number one, the rest of the world be damned. But, in that, he is barely a speck on the radar. If the world were of flesh, he would be an unnoticeable blemish, well hidden from the rest of the anomalies.

Though generally uncaring, he is fiercely loyal to all those he can get behind. If you are running for a cause he can believe in, he will back you up vehemently. He is passionate, though under spoken. His many opinions are left rather un-discussed, hidden behind his closed off personality.

His quiet, cold exterior would make him an amazing assassin, loyal and closed off enough to never speak of his hirer. But his weak body and morals ward off jobs such as that. Although he is cold and uncaring, he is morally driven and would never kill anyone he could perceive as innocent. He thinks that no one, even the worst criminals and most insignificant people deserve to die at the hands of another human. Monsters kill people, he believes, and monsters deserve to die.

Perceiving himself as a monster, he refuses to get close to even people he could see himself with. But, were anyone to break down the barriers, they would find a romantic heart and a loyal friend.

history; Born into a small coast town, Fray had a virtually perfect life. His younger sister and older brother were both smart and kind to him. He was the brilliant middle child, with loving and nurturing parents and siblings. They never moved from the home all three children were born in, and lived in the perfect neighborhood. It was full of other children around all three of their ages.

At ten years old Fray was on his first lone adventure. It was Halloween and his brother, who was supposed to take him around, had set him off on his own while he went out to see friends. A rustling in the bushes barely even touched his mind. When he finally heard it, the hair on the back of his neck stood straight up. Fear paralyzed him and by the time movement returned it was too late. He was bitten.

He assumed it just a wild animal and, after the doctor’s appointment, thought nothing of it. Until the full moon. His first transformation was almost unbearably painful. He had absolutely no control over himself once he had changed. When he returned to himself the next morning, naked and cold and afraid, he was covered in the blood of his family.

He packed up and left quickly as he could, saying no goodbyes. At twelve, after running for two years, he came upon a circus, the night of the full moon. After he had changed he murdered the main act, and, when he had returned to himself that morning, he was taken into the circus to repay the debt of killing the money-getter. Every full moon he drew in the crowds, they gawked and threw food and stones into his cage as he roared and tried to escape.

At fourteen he did escape, in human form, and ran once more. At fifteen he came across a pack. An entire pack of werewolves who had control over their beasts and could even transform into wolves when they wanted. He was taken in, and they taught him all they could. But the pack life was not for him. This particular pack was violent and killed people, despite their control. He didn’t want to do this. At sixteen he tried to leave. A fight against him broke out, his arm was torn off, he was scarred, but labeled himself lucky as he had escaped.

Years after he found himself in a big city, just trying to get by on meager scraps and trash. He is homeless, and often appears as a lone wolf wondering the city so not to be bothered by humans. He avoids packs at all costs, not wanting to get into that whole thing again.
